Things You'll Need:
- Computer
- Internet
-
Step 1
Deciding on A Particular Path. If you haven't already, now would be the time to decide what particular Wiccan Path you are interested in learning about. Wicca is considered a contemporary or modern religion, but it is based on ancient ways. While there are some schools that teach about all or some of Wicca's paths, some of them focus on one particular path or tradition.
-
Step 2
Search online for different Wiccan Schools. You will find a large variety of schools available to you. Some online schools will charge a fee to become a student, while others ask for no fees to participate in their studies. Most schools will give you good information about what they have to offer and what you will stand to learn at their school, on their home pages. You should be able to access information about the paths that they teach about and the courses that they offer before you decide if you want to enroll.
-
Step 3
Find out what is expected of you. There are some online Wiccan schools that simply ask you to read the lesson they have set out or a book that they have decided to use as a text for the class. Depending on the school, you may or may not be asked to take an online test to show what you have learned. While many people are able to learn by simply reading and applying the information they have learned, others require an interactive approach. You will be able to find online Wiccan Schools where you will have actual interaction with the teachers and other students.
-
Step 4
Finding a school that fits you. While you will find lots of online Wiccan Schools where you will fit in, what is important is that they fit you. The school should be able to meet the needs that you have concerning what you want to learn about your religion. Before you make your final decision, try emailing or instant messaging teachers and possibly other students at the school. Most schools will have a teacher directory available where you will find their contact information. This will allow you to get to know the teachers at the schools first and what they offer and expect from the students.
