The following steps will assist the caring parent in teaching the children to make "Easy Pizza," and during the process, make some of those cherished 'family memories.' Take all precautions to make this activity safe and FUN. As always, my prayer for you and your loved ones is to remain healthy and safe, become wealthy, and grow wiser.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1 can biscuits
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 pound hamburger meat, and/or pepperoni, and/or sausage
  • 1 small diced onion
  • 1 small diced green pepper
  • 2 cup of mozzarella's cheese

Step1
1. Call the children around the table.
2. Instruct the children to accumulate the ingredients.
3. Chop up the onion and pepper for the children. Place each in a separate small bowel.
4. Cook hamburger meat and/or sausage, place in separate bowls and set aside.
5. Open pepperoni, and get it ready to place on top of pizzas.
Step2
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Open the can of biscuits. Flour a surface area, and allow the children to take time about using a rolling pin to flatten a can biscuit.
3. Spray a cookie sheet or pizza pan with oil.
4. Assist the children to place their flattened biscuit on the oiled pan.
Step3
Assist the children as they choose favorite toppings to cover the flattened biscuits.
1. Spoon out three tablespoons of pizza sauce on flattened biscuits.
2. Add meat as desired, choosing one or adding all three.
3. Add onions and peppers as desired.
4. Cover with cheese, as much as desired.
5. Cook in oven for twenty minutes or until flattened biscuits appear to be done.
6. Remove from oven. Serve and eat.

Tips & Warnings

  • The choice of meats can be expanded to accommodate certain preferences.
  • Other cheeses may be added as desired.
  • Additional pizza seasonings maybe added to the meat while cooking or to the pizza sauce.
  • You are not only making "Easy Pizza;" you are also making cherished family memories. Be extra patient. Laugh when the children drop cheese in the floor, or sneak a bite here and there during the process. Sing a favorite song, or make one up. This is your 'quality time' with your little ones. ENJOY!
  • Always stay with the children while cooking.
  • You, as parent, be the one to cook the meats, and open and close the oven for inserting the pan of pizza.
  • Watch out for loose clothing around a stove.
