Step 1
Times Square is overrun by people who cannot get enough of wax sculptures of Samuel L. Jackson, jumbotrons, and the newly opened Ripley's Believe it or Not. A few blocks away, the stores of Ninth Avenue couldn't be more different. Take a walk up the avenue and check out the countless bistros, cafes and boutiques that make up the new Ninth Avenue.

Step 2
While there are no parks in Hell's Kitchen, Pier 84 comes very close. Located off the West Side Highway, you can forget your in the city if you walk to the end and sit on a bench overlooking the river. There is also a substantial patch of grass that's perfect for having a picnic or sunbathing in the summer.

Step 3
No trip to Hell's Kitchen would be complete without a stop at H&H Bagels, which is located on 46th street off of the West Side Highway. Stop before you heard to the pier, for a great waterfront brunch.

Step 4
After a long day of walking and exploring, you'll be hungry. If you love barbecue, Daisy May's on 11th and 46th street is the best kept secret of the area. They serve gourmet food at diner prices.
