It seems that everywhere you go, someone is telling you to drink, drink, drink. But we can only drink so much water before it’s too much and we give up and go back to our pop. There are ways to give water a boost so that it looks and tastes good. Here are a couple suggestions.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Water
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon juice
  • Fruit flavors
  1. Step 1

Add lemon juice to your water. Take pure lemon juice and add a capful or two to a 1-liter bottle of water. It makes the water slightly tart but tastes great.

  2. Step 2

Add fruit flavors to the water. A teaspoon or two of fruit flavor added to the water changes it from plain water to a refreshing drink, and it’s so much tastier than drinking plain water.

  3. Step 3

Turn it into ice tea. Get a pure ice tea that is free from chemicals and preservatives and add it to the water. This makes a quenching drink that you will want more of.

  4. Step 4

Make a frosty. Dump a tray or two of ice cubes into the mixer with two or three large, juicy strawberries and turn the plain water into a delicious frozen strawberry treat.

  5. Step 5

If drinking from a glass makes the water boring to drink, then buy a fancy water bottle that is yours just for water. Choose a color or design that is appealing to you so you want to use it.

  6. Step 6

Herbal teas are a delicious way of drinking your water quota, and most of the teas are decaf and have medicinal or nutritional properties.

Tips & Warnings
  • Water that is ice cold is hard on your system and can give you cramps and sudden spike headaches. It is best to drink water that is cooled but not cold to avoid discomfort that turns you away from wanting to drink it.
