Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Firefox browser
  1. Step 1

Locate the search box in the upper right hand corner of the Firefox browser.

  2. Step 2

By clicking on the down arrow located next to the default search engine icon, you will get a drop down list of available search engines. At the bottom of the list there will be a link to view more available search engines.

  3. Step 3

Choose a different search engine. You have the option to choose one of the listed search engines or to find other available search engines. If you want to choose a different search engine than the ones listed, click on "Manage Search Engines" then click on "Get more search engines."

  4. Step 4

Equip the new search engine. Once you have browsed through all of the available search engines, click on the one you wish to use as the default and then click the "Add" tab.
