Step 1
Cut the silk flowers from the main branch, leaving some stem on each blossom. You will need one blossom for each picture. Cut several leaves, leaving some of the stem. Cut several small clusters of baby’s breath, leaving some of the stem.
-
Step 2
Hold the silk flowers by the stems, adjusting their position until they looks like a corsage. Add the baby’s breath in the same way as accent. Place several of the larger leaves behind the flowers and 1 or 2 small leaves between some of the flowers. Adjust the flowers to your taste.
-
Step 3
Hold the flowers and leaves in one hand and wrap the floral wire around the stems to secure. Trim the wire. Beginning near the top of the stems, wrap the floral tape around the stems, stretching the tape in a gently downward sloping angle. Stretching helps the floral tape to stick. When all the stems are covered, tear off the floral tape.
-
Step 4
Trim the children’s pictures in ovals or circles to fit over each blossom. Use the double-stick tape and edge each picture with the ribbon. Then staple through the edge of a picture attaching it to a blossom. Staple the rest of the pictures to the blossoms.
-
Step 5
Using the extra ribbon, make a bow. The size and style depends on the size of the corsage. Secure the bow to the corsage with floral wire. Fluff the bow. Carefully push the corsage pin through the back of the corsage.
