How to Mix a Buoy Shot

New drinks are fun for lots of reasons--to spice up a boring party, woo customers with new drinks or just add some fun to a group night out. Here is a fun shot with a nautical theme we came up with during a slow night at a bar in Menominee, MI.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• 2 oz. Captain Morgan rum
• 4 oz. orange juice
• A splash of cherry juice

1. To get the best effect for this shot, it should be served in an hourglass-shaped shot glass, which is also used for bomb shots. Otherwise, any glass will do.
2. Mix the orange juice and Captain Morgan first.
3. Drop in the cherry juice last so you can see the color drip down into the glass.
4. Enjoy.
