Snacking is not a crime, but eating unhealthy snacks is never good for you. Here are some tips to keep you on track between meals.

From Quick Guide: Snacks
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The trick is to choose natural foods. Anything processed is not a good choice. Fruits, vegetables, nuts or whole wheat tortillas or bread are all good choices.

  2. Step 2

A healthy snack could be as easy as an apple in your purse or a little more involved like a stick of cheese melted inside a whole wheat tortilla.

  3. Step 3

Nuts are another good option. Either nuts alone or mixed with a little chocolate is fine. Be careful to monitor how much you're eating. One small handfull of nuts equals one serving.

  4. Step 4

Peanut butter is rich in protein and eaten in moderation, it's very good for you. Keep a jar in your office to add something sweet to almost anything: fruit, nuts, vegetables or whole wheat bread.
