Things You'll Need:
- Rice cooker
- Rice 2 cups
- Turmeric powder 1.5 tsp.
- Canola oil 5 tbsp.
- Salt to taste
- Small Onion, nicely chopped
- 1/2 a cucumber
- Tomato
- Coriander leaves

Step 1
Gulmarg, a popular tourist spot in beautiful Kashmir ValleyPut 2 cups of rice in to the rice cooker.

Add 3.5 cups of water

Add the 1.5 tsp. of turmeric powder and stir thoroughly.

Turn on the rice cooker and cook normally.

When your rice is ready transfer it in to a large plate and spread out the rice evenly. Make sure that the rice grains do not clump together.

Put 5 tbsp. of canola oil in to the frying pan. Fry one chopped onion until brown.

Now add rice to the oil and fry over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes. Add salt as per taste. Stir the rice vigorously while frying so that the rice grains do not stick to the bottom of the pan.

Step 8
Serve your turmeric fried rice in a wide plate. Garnish with cucumber, onions, tomatoes and coriander leaves.
