How to organize your bills

bills pile up fast so make sure you have a way to organize them

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • folders
  • permanent marker
  • desk

Step1
make a folder for each bill you have
Step2
gather up all your bills and sort through the ones you are going to pay, ones you have payed and any you are in a rears with
Step3
put the bills into there folders and write on the folder how much is owed, payment dates, and how much you have payed
Step4
put folders in order of payment dates and mark them with colored tabs as to what importance they are
Step5
when a bill comes in pay it if it is due and write on the bill what you payed and what date. then put the bill in its folder and check on the rest of the bills to see if they are up to date
Step6
repeat steps 3,4,5 every month. once a bill is payed off give it at least 1yr before disposing of it
Step7
add folders when needed and keep them out of reach of children or out of sight of visitors
