Cheesecake pudding is the next best thing to cheesecake, without all the fuss.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 8 oz brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • strawberry preserves or fresh strawberries, sliced
  • graham crackers or vanilla wafers
  • whipped topping
  1. Step 1

    In a bowl, combine cream cheese, brown sugar and sour cream. Blend thoroughly with an electric mixer. When well blended, stir in the vanilla extract.

  2. Step 2

    Cover bowl with a paper towel and refrigerate at least one hour.

  3. Step 3

    Spoon the chilled pudding into individual serving bowls and top with fresh strawberry slices or preserves.

  4. Step 4

    For a no-bake cheesecake pie, pour the pudding into a prepared graham cracker pie crust before chilling. When firm, top the pie with strawberry slices or preserves and garnish with whipped topping.

Tips & Warnings
  • Variations include serving with graham crackers or vanilla wafers
  • Splenda can be used instead of brown sugar.
