If you're a student, a single mom or dad or just someone looking to buy inexpensive but good furniture, there are ways to find cheap but unique furniture in very good condition in Chicago, Illinois. But you must be willing to spend the time needed to find it.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Look in the newspapers. Many homeowners advertise their furniture in the newspapers and are very willing to negotiate a good price that will satisfy the both of you. You can find very good bargains this way.

  2. Step 2

    Visit a nice thrift that sells inexpensive furniture. Many of them have very nice furniture that has been donated to them.

  3. Step 3

    Visit a resale furniture store such as "Sell It Again Sam" located in Matteson, Illinois, a southern suburb of Chicago.

  4. Step 4

    Visit a discount furniture store. There are many in the Chicago area.

  5. Step 5

    Visit garage sales. You can find many good deals at garage sales.

  6. Step 6

    Go to an estate sale. You can also find very good furniture and various other nice items at an estate sale.

  7. Step 7

    Search for furniture for sale on Craigslist. Many people, including discount furniture stores, advertise furniture through the Chicago-area Craigslist.

Well i went to hotpricedfurniture.com they have good deals on living room and bedroom sets and they even offer free shipping which saved me almost $200 dollars since i ordered the full dining room set. so check it out i am a college student with very little money to spare so the free shipping was a life saver

on 4/23/2008 hotpricedfurniture.com offers free shipping which saved me a couple hundred dollars that I used towards the furniture. There prices are almost whole sale and they carried name brand stuff. if you want to save some money check em out
