  • Red, orange, yellow and brown cardstock (8 ½ by 11 inches)
  • Leaf shaped cookie cutters
  • Pencil
  • Scissors

Using a word processing program, arrange the bride and groom’s names together on a template page (about 2 to 3 pairs across and 2 to 3 down depending on the size of cookie cutters). You will be using one newlywed leaf per favor, so print out one for each guest.

With a pencil, trace cookie cutters around names in random positions. Cut out and erase any showing pencil lines. Punch a hole in the edge of the leaf so that name with be right-side up.

  3. Step 3

On a blank piece of cardstock, trace the cookie cutters. Cut them out, erase the showing pencil lines and punch a hole somewhere along the edge.

  4. Step 4

Wrap 2 to 3 cinnamon sticks with a rubber band. Place one cider packet and one wrapped pair of cinnamon sticks in favor or paper bag. Close the bag and punch a hole through the opening flaps (approximately in the center).

  5. Step 5

String a piece of raffia through the hole in the bag. String a blank leaf and a leaf with the newlywed names on the raffia. Tie the raffia, making sure the leaves hang down on the side.

  6. Step 6

Place a favor by each place setting for your guests.

Tips & Warnings
  • Stamp the bags with rubber leaf stamps for an added effect.
