If you're looking for an easy dip to make for a carry-in, potluck or party, try this easy bean dip. It doesn't take a chef or a lot of ingredients, but it's tasty all the same.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 lb. block of processed cheese
  • 1 package of taco seasoning
  • 1 can of refried beans
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • Taco sauce (optional, to taste)
  • Cumin (optional, to taste)
  • Tortilla chips
  1. Step 1

Brown the ground beef in a large pan or pot. All the ingredients are going to cook in here, so make sure your cookware is large enough for everything to fit.

  2. Step 2

Add taco seasoning and water, per the instructions on the taco seasoning package.

  3. Step 3

While the meat and seasoning are cooking together, cube the cheese.

  4. Step 4

Add the refried beans and cheese to meat mixture; taste. If there isn't enough flavor, add taco sauce for heat and cumin for flavor.

  5. Step 5

    Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Tips & Warnings
  • After the dip is cooked, you can transfer it to a small crockpot set on low to keep it warm. That's what makes this dip a perfect take-along snack.
