High levels of of prostaglandins cause muscle contraction better known as cramps. Here are a few ways you can help yourself through the week.

Eliminate caffeine, and alcohol. If your cramps are severe try a heating pad.

Stay active before your menstrual cycle begins. Take a complete vitamin, like an a-z or similar.
