1. After creating a MySpace, find you a cool html background that fits who you are perfectly. You can find these at websites such as Free MySpace Background. If you pick a theme for your MySpace like say a love for animals that really helps people with your common interests find you. Pick your favorite music to play on your MySpace by searching music profiles and clicking add located by the song.

2. Load up your best looking photos. Make sure your photos have variety that shows who you are and what your everyday life is like. Include your family and friends as well. You should be in the photos with them.

3. Add friends by searching out MySpaces and clicking add. Don't just add anyone just to have your friend count up but find people you really would like to get to know better. When people add you or request for you to add them, send them a message on their page. That will encourage them to send you a message back and start a writing flow. Leave your messages as a comment on their page so that other people who visit their page can see it and may click on your picture as well.

4. Change your MySpace regularly. Boring MySpaces loses steam. Change your background as your life changes. Change your profile picture (the main picture everyone sees first) regularly (by choosing one of your photos and click profile) and add new photos regularly as well. Comment on your friends pictures and most likely they'll comment back.
