Out of curiosity I always wondered how soda became carbonated and if I can carbonate my own drinks. After some brief research I will share what I learned about how to carbonate drinks.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Refrigerator seltzer conversion kit
  • Money
  • Drill or handyman
  1. Step 1

Get together between $600 to $700 to order a refrigerator seltzer conversion kit. This is basically CO2 compressed that's made to mount in your kitchen.

  2. Step 2

Once you receive the conversion kit you have to drill a 7/8-inch hole where the faucet is to be mounted and connect the regulator to the hose attached.

  3. Step 3

Know that this kit will turn your water into pure carbonated, bubbly soda. You have to add the flavoring of course.
