The candy aisle at any store can prove quite overwhelming, even intimidating. Though some people have one definite favorite, most consider several possibilities before grabbing one candy. Deciding based on mood can make the choice easier and more fun. Read on to learn how to pick candy to fit your mood.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Candy aisle
  • Sweet (or sour) tooth
Step1
Get a read on your mood. Decide what kind of frame of mind you are in.
Step2
In a sour mood? Try Lemonheads, Sour Skittles, Sour Patch Kids or the most sour of all--Warheads.
Step3
Feeling like a bit of a tart? How about Sweet Tarts, Smarties, Nerds or Starburst?
Step4
Throw your candy-eating into your joyful frame of mind with a taste of fruit. Try Mike and Ike, Good & Fruity or Chuckles.
Step5
In a relaxed mood? Do you have all day to work on one candy? Try Slo-Poke, Sugar Daddy, Jujubes, Bit-O-Honey or Turkish Taffy.
Step6
Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't. If you do, try Almond Joy, Mounds, Chunky, Hershey Bar with Almonds or, of course, Snickers.

Tips & Warnings

  • There is no rush when it comes to choosing a candy bar. Don't pick one out with little thought and regret it later. One often selects one and eats it, only to realize she was in the mood for a different one all along.
  • If you have multiple personalities or are schizophrenic, don't choose five candy bars and eat them all at once. That will only serve to add obesity and possibly acne to your already impressive list of problems.
