Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Decide before hand what size of a room you need. The smaller the room the less the cost, so if you only have a three person cast, a 10 by 10 foot room would be fine.

  2. Step 2

Call several locations around the city and do a price comparison. Some of the most popular spaces are: Ripley Greer Studios (212-799-5433), Shetler Studios (212-246-6655), Champion Studios (212-307-7707), and Atlantic Theatre Company (646-216-1089).

  3. Step 3

Once you have compared and contrasted prices and sizes, you can book the space you want over the telephone if your desired time is available. You may have to start an account with your credit card; so have it ready.
