How to Create Eye Wash

An eye wash can be used for several different reasons, such as irritated eyes, tired eyes, conjunctivitis, relieve eyes of particles that are caught in the air, etc. Making an eye wash at home can be easy.

  • Fennel
  • Elder flowers
  • Verbena
  • Water

Instructions

    • 1

      Boil 1 cup of water and place it in a cup or a glass. Mix together 1 tsp. of fennel and 1 tsp. of elder flowers or verbena.

      Add the mixture of fennel and elder flowers or verbena to the cup of previously boiled water. Allow the mixture to cool and then strain it.

    • 3

      Use this as an eye wash for tired eyes and when conjunctivitis is present.

Tips & Warnings

  • To get immediate relief due to eye irritation put a drop of castor oil in the eye that is irritated.

  • Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed within this article.
