How to properly dispose your Christmas Tree

I surprised myself this morning when I disposed of my christmas tree without anyone's help. Here's how:

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Christmas Tree bag
• 30 minutes
• string to tie-close the bag

1. Expose the tree bag and roll down the sides until you get to the other end (bottom) of the bag. Leave open and ready to contain the tree in it.
   
   (A Christmas tree bag disposal is sold almost anywhere a x-mas tree is sold. )

2. Unscrew the tree from the base slowly. Try unscrewing only two that are next to each other (not across from each other). Let the other screws in and help you balance the tree.

3. Break off branches midway of the tree for your hand to place when lifting. Lift the tree off the base and into the open tree bag.

4. While holding on to the tree, slowly move one side of the tree bag up and hook on a branch. Do this on all sides until you reach near the top.

5. Now that you're at the top, you can safely lower the tree to one side and rest this on the floor.

6. Using the string you've put aside, tie the tree bag close and secured.

7. You can now carry the tree outside without having to worry about any branches on your face.

Tips & Warnings

• This is better done on garbage day.
• If not picked up on garbage day, call your county's waste management and ask them to place on a list to pick up.
• Attempt only if you are physically fit and can carry at least 20 lbs. at a time.
