How to Get Tickets to an Upright Citizen's Brigade Show

The Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre is New York's premiere long-form improv and sketch comedy theatre. With shows 7 days a week at low prices, the UCB is always worth a visit.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer with an Internet connection
  1. Step 1

    Go to the UCB website (see Resources below) and click on the "New York" icon.

  2. Step 2

    Click on the "Schedule" icon to view the available shows by month.

  3. Step 3

    Browse the shows by clicking on the titles and reading the brief descriptions.

  4. Step 4

    When you have selected the show you wish to see, click on the "Reserve Tickets Now" icon. Make sure you are selecting the correct date.

  5. Step 5

    Fill out the reservation form with your information, including your email address.

  6. Step 6

    A message will announce that you have been sent an email for confirmation. Check your email and you will see on from reservations@ucbtheatre.com. Open this and click on "click here."

  7. Step 7

    You will be taken to a confirmation page. Your reservation is now complete.

  8. Step 8

    Show up at the UCB Theatre (307 W. 26th St.) about 15 minutes before your show. Staff will instruct you whether to purchase your ticket right away or to wait in line first and then purchase your ticket. The system depends on the amount of people waiting to get into the show and the show itself.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you are confused about where to wait for the show or the proper time to buy your ticket, you can ask a theatre intern in the box office.
  • Reservations do not guarantee you a seat. You must show up before the show starts and wait in line to obtain seating.
  • Reservations are not always necessary if the show is not sold out.
  • The Sunday improv show tickets cannot be reserved this way.
