While many young boys may have given up on the idea of the Easter bunny, many still believe in that web-throwing superhero: Spiderman. Wow your child this Easter by creating a spidey-tastic basket that will make him the envy of the neighborhood.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Laundry Basket
  • Red Easter grass
  • Clear cellophane
  • Red & Blue Ribbon
  • Red & Blue jellybeans
  • Paas Egg Scribblers
  • Spiderman tableware
  • Comic
  • coloring-in books
  • Crayons
  1. Step 1

Use a laundry or wicker basket in blue lined with red Easter grass. Alternatively, line the basket with a red t-shirt or even a bed or red jellybeans. The latter depends on your basket size, of course!

  2. Step 2

Have your choice of sweets reflect Spiderman's theme colors: red and blue. Red hots, m & ms or jellybeans are perfect! Storing these in a brand-new Spidey mug or bowl will have your child raring to go at breakfast time each day.

  3. Step 3

Use a Paas Scribblers egg dye kit to create eggs-treme eggs in red with black webs decorating them.

  4. Step 4

Encourage your child's reading and creativity by including rolled up comic and coloring books. Include a packet of crayons. If your child is older consider swapping the crayons and coloring for a drawing pad and colored pencils.

  5. Step 5

A variety of Spiderman toys to suit all price ranges are available that you can add to the basket. Consider plush toys, figures, web blasters and games that will keep your child occupied throughout the Easter vacation.

on 1/9/2008 I love the idea of using a laundry basket! I would have never came up with that on my own. I like gift baskets in general and most easter baskets are too small to put anything substantial in them. They have a lot of spiderman memorabilia and treats out there to fill this baby up, thanks!
