Years ago, teachers told students to go get a dictionary to look up how to spell a particular word. Sometimes, it was hard to find the word in the dictionary because the student didn't know how to spell the word. In the 1970s, the first mainframe computers to use a spell check stand-alone program appeared. Help with spelling while using a personal computer (PC) arrived in 1980. Today, spell check is a way of life. Juno provides a state-of-the-art spell check program to help you fix typos or spell difficult words.

Tips & Warnings

  • The dictionary doesn't contain some of the shortcut words people often use in chat and email messages.
  • Click the "Undo" option to change a replaced word to the original spelling.
  • Save time sending the message by clicking the "Send" button in the spell check window.
  • You must click the button to run the spell check again if you add text to the message before you send it.
