Juno has been in the Internet service business almost as long as most the big names in the industry have been. The company has always offered service at low prices (even free). Today, Juno uses the latest DSL technologies for faster connection speeds over traditional dial-up service. Depending on your Internet connection speeds, Juno can install and set up within a matter of minutes.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Visit the Juno website (see Resources below).
Step2
Follow the "Access Numbers" link in the box titled "New to Juno?" on the Juno homepage.
Step3
Enter your area code in the box between the parentheses. In the next box, enter the first 3 numbers for your landline telephone at your home. You may need to scroll down to the bottom of the screen to find the boxes to enter your numbers. Click the "Check Access Availability" button.
Step4
Scroll down the next page to find access numbers available for your area. Your city should be listed under the "Location" heading. If numbers aren't listed, Juno service isn't available in your area. If you notice the location is wrong, double-check the numbers you provided in the boxes on the website.
Step5
Go back to the Juno homepage by hitting the "Back" button twice or by clicking the "Juno" button at the top of the page.
Step6
View the various Internet service plans offered by Juno. You find the plans by clicking the "View More Plans" link in the "New to Juno?" box on the Juno homepage.
Step7
Compare the plans offered by Juno, and click the "CheckOut" button for the plan that fits your budget and Internet usage.
Step8
Double-check the purchase you are making, and click the "CheckOut" button again to set up a new Juno account.
Step9
Choose a unique user name (member ID) for the new account. Use a name you can remember. You may have to come up with several different names to find an available name.
Step10
Type in a password made up of at least 3 characters and up to 12 characters. Use a combination of 12 lowercase letters and numbers for the most secure password. Enter the same password in the "Confirm Password" box.
Step11
Select a "Secret Question" from the drop-down menu, and provide the answer to the question in the white box. The question is used in the future in case you forget your password.
Step12
Fill out the form with your name, address and payment method to pay for your Juno account.
Step13
Download the program to install Juno on your computer. You can click the "Open" or "Run" options to install the program immediately after the download ends.
Step14
Accept the EULA (End User License Agreement) by clicking the appropriate box. Choose to add the Juno icon to your desktop and/or application menu.
