How to Register for Ask.com MyStuff

Ask.com MyStuff provides a myriad of features and search tools. To really make the most these fun features, you have to register for an Ask.com MyStuff account.

Things You'll Need

• Browser with cookies enabled

Instructions

1. Start up your Internet browser. Go to the Ask.com MyStuff registration page (see Resources below). Register for Ask.com MyStuff by completing the sign-up form.

2. Enter your email address in the text field next to "Email Address." Type your email address a second time. It should go in the field next to "Confirm Email Address."

3. Choose a password that is between six and 32 characters long and type it into the field next to "Password." Type it in a second time next to "Confirm Password."

4. Enter a nickname in the field next to "Nickname." It must be between two and 32 characters long.

5. Click the check box indicating that you are over 13 years of age and agree to Ask.com's conditions for using its services. You cannot register for MyStuff if you do not check this box.

6. Note that the "Save all" box is checked by default to save all of your existing search results from your guest account.

7. Click the "Sign Up" button. An email will be sent to the email address you provided. You have to click on a link in the email to complete the registration. The email may be sent to your junk mail folder, so be sure to check there for it.

8. Open up the email from "MyStuff Registration." You may have to unblock the content of the message, so you can see it and click the link.

9. Click on the link that says, "Confirm your registration and activate your account now!" If you cannot click this link, copy the URL provided below the link and paste it into your browser's location window. A webpage will come up that says, "Congratulations!"

Tips & Warnings

• You can use the "Tab" key to move your cursor from one text-entry field to the next when filling out the sign-up form on Ask.com.

• Note you can only click the link in the registration-confirmation email one time. If you try to click it a second time, you will be brought to a login page. If this happens, you are already registered, so just log in using the email address and password you provided.

• If cookies aren't enabled, you will not be able to use MyStuff.
