An easy fix for a quick dinner, an Italian chicken bake can be a two night meal as it can be saved as leftovers easily. Somewhat of a casserole it is a unique meal in itself.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1 & 1/4 cup of cooked boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 3/4 cup of green peas
  • 1/2 cup of grated cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • 1 & 1/4 cup of Bisquick
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 large eggs

Step1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a 9 inch round pie plate or casserole dish.
Step2
Mix chicken, chopped tomatoes, peas, grated cheese, and Italian seasoning inside the pie plate.
Step3
In a bowl, mix Bisquick, milk, and eggs until smooth. Pour into the pie plate over the other ingredients. Bake for 35 minutes.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can add many other ingredients to this dish if you wish. Such as: vegetables, shredded sharp cheddar, shredded swiss cheese, etc.
  • If it seems as if 1 & 1/4 cups of Bisquick is too little, double the amount of Bisquick.
  • Remember to grease the pie plate or casserole dish so that your Italian Chicken Bake does not stick.
