Getting that designer blouse or perfume is not out of reach on a small budget. Following are some tips to help you buy high quality items on a small budget.

1. Wait a month or so after new clothes arrive in a store. They will still be "new" in a month or so. And they will be cheaper. Much cheaper!
2. Shop discount stores such as Marshall's. Almost everything seems to end up there anyway!
3. Use those extra savings coupons in store flyers. Even high end stores such as Macy's and Bloomingdale's offer them. It all adds up!
4. Use eBay. Just take precautions to make sure you are getting legitimate items. Ask for a guaranty from the seller. Check out the feedback on the seller as well (see Resources below).
5. Shop at estate sales and auctions. You can find rare antiques at reasonable prices. Same for garage sales. Sometimes sellers will not realize what a gem they have!
