Babolat Tennis Racket
First step is to acquire all of those things needed to play. Tennis shoes that has good insoles to protect your feet and is preferably low cut Tennis Racket for beginners, tennis attire which must be comfortable and stretchable as well and a tennis ball. Shown in the image is an advanced player's tennis racket.
Step2
Go to ant tennis court or a tennis club with a buddy or find an instructor at that said club. One is always available and ready to teach for a fee. Although I'd much prefer a friend who can play to teach since it is more fun and above all free of charge.
Step3
You must warm up first. Stretching is of course the best way to start this and a little bit of running will be a good way to end the warm up.
Step4
Start near the net of the court(about 2 meters near) and ask your friend to do the same and start hitting the ball slowly with only one bounce on it. This will help your reflexes and warm up your eye to hand coordination as well. It would serve you best if you can determine how you will grip the tennis racket at this point.
Step5
After the last step, move further back into the baseline and start hitting from there. The best way to do this for starters is to hit slowly and continue the form or the grip that you have for familiarization. Don't change your grip as this is a very crucial part of the game.
Step6
Practice backhand and forehand drives. Choose between a two hander backhand or a one hander. The difference is that with a two hander you get more control for the ball.
Step7
Enjoy your new found Sport and the healthy benefits going along with it!!!
