Step1

Park at Mira Costa High School and take the shuttle into Fiesta Hermosa. You can also look for parking along Ardmore Avenue near 21st Street and Prospect.

Step2

Do a once-over browse of all the booths that make up the "T" shaped vendor area. Make note of any items that catch your attention.

Step3

Go back after you've done your once-over and inquire about pricing on the objects you liked. Vendors will typically bargain with you if you're purchasing two or more items.

Step4

Grab a bite to eat at one of the food stands or take a seat (if you can snag one) on the patio of one of the restaurants. If you've brought your beach gear head down to the beach for sun, swimming or volleyball.

Step5

Take in one of the musical acts that are set up in the middle of the bar area.

Step6

Head to the carnival section in the parking lot behind Lighthouse, Patrick Molloy's and Sangria for any carnival games or rides you wish to engage in (though most of the rides are for children).

Step7

Sit in one of the bars along the pier and have some food and a few drinks.

Tips & Warnings

Fiesta Hermosa has a lot of great odds and ends for your home, so keep an eye out of unique posters, home accessories or kitchen decorations
Though Hermosa Beach doesn't get unbearably warm, it can be hot during Memorial and Labor Day weekends - when Fiesta Hermosa is held.
