Things You'll Need:
- Healthy diet
- Good moisturizer
-
Step 1
Know who your skin's enemies are: stress, sun, unhealthy eating habits, pollution, tobacco and alcohol. Your skin's friends are cleansing, exfoliation, moisturizing and solar protection.
-
Step 2
Watch what you eat. Everything you eat is noticeable on your face. It is important to include protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats, like olive oil. A diet where you only eat vegetables will give you pale and flaccid skin. Start eating fruits, vegetables, eggs and meat.
-
Step 3
Protect your skin from stress and sun. When you have stress, your skin loses its glow. It becomes prone to breakouts, giving you pimples and impurities because of the increase of androgen, a male hormone.
Always protect your skin from the sun. Your skin keeps in its memory all of the sun you have taken in your life. More than 80 percent of wrinkles are the result of photo aging. -
Step 4
Before wearing your makeup or any other product, cleanse your face. Face cleansers must be applied with a cotton ball or your fingers. Pay special attention to your forehead and the area around your nostrils. Remove the face cleanser with a cotton ball or clean towel.
-
Step 5
Use an exfoliant twice a week. Exfoliants do away with dead cells and eliminate the grey tones of the skin. After you exfoliate, apply a refreshing and nutritious face mask, as your skin will be more receptive.
-
Step 6
Moisturize your skin after cleansing your face. Moisturizer is your skin's best friend. When applying your moisturizer, pay special attention to the areas around your eyes and lips.
-
Step 7
Use a makeup base. It will help correct your skin tone and will surround it with a healthy glow. The color must be the closest to your skin tones. Ideally, it must blend on your face and appear invisible.
