How to Make Scotch-A-Roos Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Krispy Treats

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup syrup
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscoth chips

      Mix the sugar and syrup in a large microwaveable bowl. Microwave the mix on high for 1 1/2 minutes. Stir it and microwave it again for 1 1/2 minutes. Stir in peanut butter, and then stir in the Rice Krispies.

      Spread the mixture in a 13-by-9 inch pan or cookie sheet. Spread the mixture in the pad immediately or it will get too hard to use.

      Place the chocolate and butterscotch chips into a microwaveable bowl, and microwave for 1 minute. Stir the melting chips, then microwave for another minute, and stir. At this point the chips should be smooth. Pour the melted chips over the Rice Krispies peanut butter mixture, spread evenly and place in the refrigerator to set.
