Dealing with the Flu. symptoms and risks.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate
Step1
The Flu (short for influenza)is an highly contagious viral infection.
The Flu begins like an ordinary cold but gets worse. It involves fever, chills, sweating, headache, loss of appetite, sore throat, coughing, weakness, and even sore skin.
Step2
The best remedy for the flu is plenty of rest and lot's of fluids.
You can control the fever with aspirin or acetaminophen(remember do not give aspirin to children). In severe cases seek medical attention asap especially the very young and the elderly.
Those with diabetes, chronic cardiovascular or pulmonary disease, asthma or anemia are at greater risk of developing secondary infection and should be vaccinated against the Flu.
Step3
Given proper care, you should feel better within a few days,(but that doesn't mean you have fully recovered).
A rush back to normal activities could cause fatigue and a relapse.
Since the flu is so contagious, it usually comes in epidemics so caution is the best prevention.
