How to Fund Your Christmas Shopping With Loose Change

Pocket change is something that we avoid accumulating because it weighs down our clothes and is cumbersome. What if you could turn that loose change into your entire Christmastime budget? It can be done following these quick steps throughout the year.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
The first way to fund your Christmas shopping with change is to actively pursue it throughout the year. Most people try to avoid change. You are going to try to get it. Do not give that penny when the total is one penny over a dollar. You want that .99 cents.
Step2
Every time you get paid, ask for a roll of quarters from the bank teller. Immediately take this roll and put it in your jar of change. Make sure you use a sturdy change bucket because it will fill up fast.
Step3
At the end of every month, you and the family sit down and roll the change and count it up to see where you are. It will become a fun thing to do as you watch the money pile up. Include the whole family and explain that they will benefit as well.
Step4
At the end of the year, gather up all the change you have rolled and take it to the bank. You will be shocked at how much it added up and how easy your Christmas shopping will now be. Enjoy the Holiday!
