How to Make Use out of a Broken Cell Phone

Technology these days comes and goes. Computers die, TVs break, and one drop of a cell phone could end its life. Instead of just trashing the cell phone, there are many uses you can use and get your money’s worth. Just put your mind to work and try out these ideas.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Still use it: There is nothing better than avoiding confrontations and conversations with people then pulling out your cell phone. Put your acting skills to work and begin a fake conversation, with your mother, friend, or even your pet goldfish. This will usually work, unless the other person is noisy and sees that it actually is not working.
Step2
Flashlight: One of the worst cases of a cell phone breaking is a cracked screen. Sure you can hear the phone ring, press buttons, and it still powers up, but you cannot see a thing. Make use out of this as a make shift flashlight. Whether you are walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night, camping in the woods, or trying to see behind a desk or something blocking the light, the cell phone is small and convenient.
Step3
EBay: You might think your phone is useless, but other people may not. They could be using it for parts or any of the other reasons on this page, but try selling your cell phone on EBay or other auction prices. You will not make nearly as much as a working version of the phone, but a little extra cash for something you were going to throw away is nice.
Step4
Toy: Kids love technology. They like slamming on keyboards, stealing the TV remote and playing video games. Instead of buying them a cheap fake phone, just give them the real thing to play with. As long as the phone you are giving them is not shattered with pieces everywhere, there will be no harm and your child will love to play with it.
Step5
Back Up Battery: If you buy the same model or something like it, chances are that it will hold the same battery. Putting this extra battery in your car, at work, or in your purse, can help in cases of emergency when the original battery has died. This can be very helpful and you never know when you might need it.
