How to remove rust stains from formica counter tops

This is the most simple way that I've found to remove rust stains from formica.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    First, clean the area with windex.

  2. Step 2

    Second, soak 4 or 5 cotton balls with peroxide.

  3. Step 3

    Third, place over stain, let sit for 10 minutes or so and then scrub with cotton ball, repeat as needed.

on 11/26/2008 The BEST way to remove rust or any stain from a formica counter top is to use a fine grit sand paper like 220 and sand off the thin layer of stain using a small circular motion, then wipe clean with a damp sponge. Presto!! Clean counter tops.
