How to Be an Experienced Bingo Player

Bingo is a classic game that is played in houses, schools, and casinos world wide and has even sparked a documentary and a show on the ABC Network called National Bingo Night. While it may seem like all luck, there is a lot of strategy that can be applied to the game and make yourself an experienced bingo player.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Location may be the key in being a successful bingo player. If you are home, your odds are outstanding at winning, and whether it is for a candy bar, or even a few bucks, you are usually guaranteed to win at some point. Big casinos like Foxwoods Resort Casino offer some of the largest bingo halls in the world, and while payouts are usually over $500 every night, there are slim chances of actually winning one of those prizes. The best bet is to find local firehouses and other organizations that host their own bingo night. Payouts are usually pretty good, ranging from fifty to a hundred dollars, and with the amount of people, you have good odds that one of your cards will come up a winner.
Step2
Normally bingo halls offer a package, with the option of buying additional specials. While the jackpots in the specials may sound intriguing, they are not usually worth the money and you can expand your profits by simply avoiding buying them.
Step3
Along with the specials, bingo halls will have a quickie game, where numbers are rapidly called. These games are usually the cheapest and offer a nice payout, so if you cannot resist the specials, just try to stick to this fast paced and fun game.
Step4
Do you know where the number 41 is? It is under the N column on a bingo card, and knowing the number without the letter is important to succeeding in a bingo game. During quickies, no letters are called, so it will help to know which column to look down and when playing multi-carded games, knowing the number will help you dab quicker and avoid missing any numbers that could be your winning card.
Step5
Every card has serial number to keep track and help verify winning cards. Usually the lower the serial number on your card, the closer the numbers will be. For example a low numbered card could feature 14,15,16, and 17 all on the same card and that is good because trends have shown that numbers tend to be called in batches.
