A facial is very rewarding for your health and appearance. It is a very relaxing experience, but they can be very expensive. Here is a complete facial may not be as resultant as a professional facial, but is just as relaxing and rewarding.
A mint tea bag or a couple of leaves of fresh mint
A large plastic bowl
A towel
Boiling water
Uncooked oatmeal, ground into a fine flour
Milk or cream
Cucumber
Step1
Scrub Wash your face of all makeup. Take about two tablespoons of cornmeal and with two fingers rub it on your face in circular motions. Make sure that you are standing over a sink so you have less to clean up. Be gentle, and don't rub too vigorously. Use warm water to remove the scrub once you've finished.
Step2
Steam With your boiling water in your plastic bowl, stand over it with the towel over your head and the bowl. The steam will open your pores and cleanses them. Don't place your face so close to the bowl, you might burn yourself. Steam for at least ten minutes.
Step3
Mask + Eye Soothers Slice two pieces of cucumber and place them in the fridge Mix the oatmeal flour with two tablespoons of milk or cream, or until it can coat the back of a spoon without falling off. Apply the mask all over your face avoiding your eye area. Take your cucumber, lie back and place them on your eyes. Let the mask do its magic for at least fifteen minutes. Wash it off with warm water.
Step4
Toner Cut a new, cold piece of cucumber and slide it all over your face. Toner closes your pores and freshens your face.
