How to Use Your Christmas Samples

This article is for my clients who received the Thank You Gift of New Products during the Holidays but the information can be used my anyone wishing to give themselves a facial treatment at home. In additon to the list of the products in your little red organza bag, you will need your Gentle Cleanser if removing make up and your other cleanser specific to your skin whether it is a foaming cleanser or a scrub or both.
If you wanted to get fancy, you could also get your Aloe Cucumber Astringent and cotton pads for your eyes.

Things You'll Need:

• The samples you have of:
• Beta Peel Masque 7%
• Moisture Infusion Masque
• Intensive Eye Therapy Treatment
• Lip Remodeling Treatment
• Continuous Moisture Cream
• Firm and Repair Throat Cream
• Time to relax and lie down
• Relaxing Music
• Fragrant Candles

1. If you are beginning with your make up on, go ahead and cleanse your face and throat with the Gentle Cleanser, removing with warm washcloth. Repeat the removal process twice.

2. Cleanse skin with either your foaming cleanser or your scrub. If your personal directions include both, use the scrub first, then the foaming cleanser. Let your skin dry completely before proceeding.

3. Open the sample of the Beta Peel Masque 7% and apply to face, concentrating on the periphery and moving toward the center of the face. This WILL feel like it is burning, take a deep breath and relax. It is self-limiting and quiets down in about 10 minutes. Rinse off with tepid water and a gauze sponge. If you have the Clairisonic MD Professional Skin Care Brush, use it to remove the masque. Again, let your skin dry completely.

4. Dab some of the Intensive Eye Therapy at the lower corner of each eye right on the orbital bone and with your ring fingers, pat this light emulsion gently, moving toward the inner eye and around on the top of the orbital bone just under the eyebrows. There is no need to ever put eye cream close to the lashes, the cream will naturally travel into the needed area.

5. Apply a good amount of the Lip Remodeling Treatment to your lips

6. In an upward motion massage some of the Firm and Repair Throat Cream from the clavicle up to the jawline. Lift head up so the skin is taut.

7. Apply a heaping teaspoon of the Moisture Infusion Masque to face and throat. You should be able to see it on the face as a white filmy layer. Place some Aloe Cucumber Astringent to cotton pads and after lying down, apply to the eye area.

8. After 20 to 30 minutes, rinse the masque off with tepid water, massaging in any residue. Using a washcloth of gauze sponge, buff the lips and then reapply the Lip Remodeling Treatment.

9. Reapply the Intensive Eye Therapy and the Firm and Repair Throat Cream. After they are absorbed, apply about a dime size amount of the Continuous Moisture Cream to the entire face, patting it in with gentle taps.

Tips & Warnings

• Hold the face up and the neck taut when applying Firm and Repair Throat Cream. Turn your head to each side for a few strokes.
• Use tepid, NOT hot water.
