Tired of the same old chicken done the way you always cook it. Try this recipe that my Husband makes for me. It is a favorite every time he makes it.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Chicken Breasts
  • Itialian Salad dressing
  • Italian Bread crumbs
  • Motzarella cheese or cheese of your liking
Step1
10 minutes prep time. 30 minutes of cook time. Yield depends on the thickness and size of chicken breasts.
Step2
Marinate Chicken in Italian Dressing. If frozen place in a large zip lock the day before in the refrigerator. As it defrosts it will suck in the Marinade. If fresh or already defrosted follow same directions But keep it in the bag for a few hours. Remember when Marinating in a bag make sure to get most of the Air out of the bag so chicken is getting Marinade on all sizes.
Step3
Ready with Marinated Chicken. Preheat over to 350. Line a cookie sheet with tin foil.
Step4
As you remove each chicken breast, roll in Italian Bread crumbs. I prefer to get another Baggie to do this step. I just toss the bags when done - Salmonella.
Step5
Place each breast in a warmed oil bath. This adds a touch of crispy to the out side.
Step6
Spray foil with Pam. Place chicken on foiled pan. Sprinkle your favorite cheese on top of each.
Step7
Place in the oven to bake chicken the rest of the way and melt cheese. about 30 minutes depends on the thickness and size of the chicken breast. Check if thoroughly cooked with meat thermometer or cut one in half to make sure chicken is white all the way through.

Tips & Warnings

  • Try this recipe on pork chops. I have never really found that this recipe worked on Beef.
  • Serve with favorite veggie
  • This recipe is great when cooled for one of a kind sandwich.
  • If overcooked the breast will be dry and tough.

on 1/8/2008 Great recipe. Marinated trick: If you air seal the bag with a sealer that removes all the air then your meat will soak up the juice in less then 15 minutes.
