Southern Fried Chicken is made with golden and crispy flavor with hot sauce and black pepper. My mom usually use Vegetable Oil, that's how she made her original chicken.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup of water
  • 1 cup of hot red pepper sauce
  • 3 cups of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • pieces of one chicken each
  • salt and pepper
  • I'll use Vegetable oil or just oil.

Step1
eggs Put 1/3 cup of water in the medium size bowl, and then take 3 eggs, crack them open and drop each of them in it and beat them.
Step2
hot sauce Add one cup of Hot Sauce, the mixture should be an orange color.
Step3
Get another bowl, put pieces of chicken in it and wash the chicken out before seasoning it.
Step4
flour and black pepper Get a last bowl, put in 3 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of black pepper and then combine them. Dry the pieces of chicken by draining the water out of the bowl.
Step5
salt and pepper Season each chicken with salt and pepper or black pepper, dip them in the egg mixture and then coat them well in the flour mixture and shake it.
Step6
Heat the Deep Electric Skillet on 350 degrees, the oil. Fill the pot full with a half of oil.
Step7
Fry the chicken and watch it until it is golden and crispy, sometimes dark meat can take a long time than white meat.

Tips & Warnings

  • Never fill the pot more than a half full with oil, it can cause the pot to burn.
  • Watch the pot for any errors, don't walk off and do anything else unless it is done.
