Things You'll Need:
- Computer and color printer
- Photo editor and project maker (Photoshop, Photo Suite, Corel, Microsoft Works)
- Card stock or blank postcards
- Digital pictures or scanned pictures of your artwork
-
Step 1
Create a project in your photo editor or project maker that is 6 by 4 inches. This will be your postcard when it is printed out. This size is the size of an average postcard.
-
Step 2
Cropped art I have used for postcards.Add your artwork image. You may want to crop the artwork image to make it have more impact on the postcard.
-
Step 3
Start working on the back where you will put the address, message and stamp. To do this, create another project that is 6 by 4 inches. On this project, simply make a line down the middle of the card and add your message and the address. Make sure that you have your signature, painting details and contact information somewhere on the postcard.
-
Step 4
Set your printer to "print both sides." On this setting, your printer will prompt you on how to feed the card back through to print the other side. Or, if you want you can just print the card on both sides without the help of your printer if you find that less confusing.
