Things You'll Need:
- Garden border metal fencing
- 20 Gauge wire
- Tin snips
- Antique white spray paint
- Chains
- Tea candle votives
- Tea candles
- S hook
-
Step 1
Cut your short garden bed fence to 3 feet long. Tin snips will cut through most chain link and metal fencing material.
-
Step 2
Roll the 3 foot piece of ending into a cylinder shape.
-
Step 3
Cut pieces of 20 gauge wire to 3 inches long. Tie the two ends together with 20 gauge wire pieces. Trim off any excess wire. Tuck ends under so they do not stick out.
-
Step 4
Cut off one piece of 20 gauge wire for each candle votive you will be attaching to the chandelier. These should be about ten inches long.
-
Step 5
Place one tea candle votive on the side of the metal fence cylinder. Wrap the wire around the front of the tea candle votive with both ends sticking inside the fence.
-
Step 6
Twist the two ends of wire together to hold the tea candle votive to the chandelier. Continue this until all of your tea candle votive is attached to the chandelier.
-
Step 7
Cut three piece of small chains to 3 feet long each. Tie the three ends together using a piece of 20 gauge wire.
-
Step 8
Attach the three remaining ends to three points on top of the vintage. Slip the wire through the end chain link and tie each one to the top of the fence. Place the three chains equidistant apart on the chandelier so it will hang level.
-
Step 9
Hang the vintage candle chandelier from an S hook outside. Slip the S hook through the inside of the three chains and onto a eye hook from a ceiling.
-
Step 10
Spray the entire vintage fence chandelier with an antique white spray paint finish. Place tea candles in the candle votives and hang outside on your porch or inside of your home.
