It's the holiday of love. Everyone wants to do something special for the one they love on Valentine's Day, but what to do? We all like a good surprise, especially one inspired by love. It doesn't have to break the bank to make your Sweetheart feel special on this happy day. Whether you have a lot to spend or nothing at all, this Valentine's can be one your sweetie will remember forever.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Pack a picnic lunch and take your sweetheart to the library. Check out some famous love poetry books. Huddle in a cozy corner of the library and whisper these poems to your sweetie. Or check them out and go eat your picnic under a tree, laying on the blanket, reading and looking at the clouds go by.
Step2
Make a list of the 25 reasons you love your sweetheart. Print it out in a colorful font or handwrite it neatly. Mail it in a red envelope for your sweetheart to get on Valentine's Day.
Step3
Seek out a local horse-drawn carriage company. See what they would charge for a romantic ride in a carriage, and then surprise your sweetheart at her door like Prince Charming.
Step4
Whisk your lover away for the day or night to a sentimental spot, special to the two of you. It could be as simple as the place you met, or the site of your first date or even just something relaxing like going to the beach, having dinner or staying at a fancy spa.

Tips & Warnings

  • The thing she will most appreciate is you sharing your heart. No gift compares to that time spent with your love as the focus.
  • Don't forget the chocolate.
