Ever since the French brought us the delicious form of eating eggs in omelets, many people like to start their morning off with this protein rich meal. Making a two egg omelet is easy, fun and tastily rewarding. Follow these simple steps to whip yourself up a two-egg mushroom, cheddar omelet in no time at all.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Two eggs
  • Fork
  • Bowl
  • Sliced mushrooms
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 ounce of milk
  • Non-stick omelet pan
  • Plastic spatula
  • Teaspoon of margarine
  1. Step 1

    Place the pan on the burner on medium heat and add the margarine.

  2. Step 2

    Crack and mix the eggs with the milk, whipping them in a stirring bowl with a fork until it has a solid yellowish consistency.

  3. Step 3

    Add the mushrooms to the heated pan and cook until browned.

  4. Step 4

    Pour the eggs evenly over the mushrooms and allow them cook for several minutes.

  5. Step 5

    Add cheese and flip the omelet. Once you see the omelet is almost fully cooked, add the desired amount of cheese. Slip the spatula carefully under one side of the omelet and fold it over. Allow it to cook for another minute to melt the cheese, serve and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always use a non-stick pan or your omelet may not flip right.
  • Do not use a metal spatula on a non-stick pan, this can scratch and ruin the non-stick coating, rendering the pan useless.
