Highly Buffed Shine

Buffing can make the difference between a shiny finish car and a mirror finish one. there are two ways to buff: Hand and Machine.

I will cover the hand method in this how-to

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Wax
  • Poly foam applicator
  • Microfiber towels
  • Elbow grease (lots)
  1. Step 1

Apply car wax in the shade. If it dries too quickly or stays on too long; it may be difficult to buff off.

  2. Step 2

Always apply car wax to a dry vehicle. Droplets of water on the paint will make it tough to buff off.

  3. Step 3

Apply a very thin coat of wax with a poly foam applicator. Buff this off before applying a second; but check the label to see how long one coat has to cure before applying another.

  4. Step 4

Buff the haze away with microfiber towel. These pull in the wax residue and dust. Rotate your towel frequently to reveal a clean side.
