Things You'll Need:
- Barbecue sauce (any brand; original barbecue works best)
- Grape jelly
- Finely crushed pineapple (optional)
- Pineapple or orange juice (optional)
-
Step 1
Pour a bottle or can of barbecue sauce (16 oz.) into a sauce pan or slow cooker.
-
Step 2
Add half of a small jar (8 oz.) of grape jelly, about 1/4 to 1/2 cup.
-
Step 3
Stir well and simmer on low for 10 to 15 minutes.
-
Step 4
To sweeten the sauce a little more you can add 1/8 cup of finely crushed pineapple or pineapple chunks depending on the desired consistency. If you prefer smooth sauce but still wanted the added sweetness, then use 1/8 cup pineapple juice or orange juice.
