How to Remove Permanent Marker with an Antiseptic Wipe

Need a quick and easy way to remove permanent marker from most hard surfaces? Try an antiseptic wipe from the medicine cabinet or emergency kit.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• One or more antiseptic wipes containing isopropyl alcohol.

1. Tear open an alcohol based antiseptic wipe from the medicine cabinet or emergency kit.

2. Using moderate pressure wipe vigorously over the marks you want to remove.

3. Repeat with fresh wipes as needed if the mark was not completely removed. Large or stubborn marks require more wipes.

Tips & Warnings

• As long as the wipes are moist they still have alcohol in them and are effective. Alcohol evaporates very fast though and will dry out quickly after the envelope is opened.
• The alcohol wipes will leave no residue so no further cleaning is required.
• As with any chemical avoid breathing the fumes or touching your eyes or mouth while using.
