Step2
Use the ice cream scoop to round out balls of the mixture into the greased pan.
Step3
Cover with ketchup or barbecue sauce.
Step4
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until inserted thermometer reads 160 degrees while inserted into the middle of the ball.
Tips & Warnings
Ketchup is the only way to go if your feeding the kids and with individual loafs you can make each one different if you choose.
Stick a drink umbrella after covering with the new food colored "green" ketchup that they carry in most grocery stores. Make a grassy hill or a funny face.
Always check the meat to ensure that it has been cooked and fluids run clear.

This is a great idea. I was already going to make meatloaf tonight and now I'm going to use the muffin pans. And freeze indivdually, what we have left over, this will work perfect for me and my husband. Thank you.

These are great for kids, especially when "presentation means everything" to them. If it is appealing and unique like this is, then they'll eat it. It's fun to "drown" meatloaf in ketchup but they can choose BBQ or other sauce as long as they eat it. Great recipe!
