Saving an image or picture to your memory card can be frustrating, but not anymore with these easy steps!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Memory Card
  • Memory Card reader or built in card reader
  • Computer
  1. Step 1

You have to have some way to get your computer to read the memory card, be it either built-in or external reader. Put your card in the appropriate slot of your reader.(basically this is whatever slot is the right size)

  2. Step 2

Once the memory card is detected by your computer, open the file where your picture is located(ie. START: My documents: my pictures, etc.).

  3. Step 3

Once you have found the picture of your choice, right click on it and select the SEND TO line. This should bring up a location to send the picture. Select the slot where your memory card is(for example, it might show Removable Disk (H:)). *If you do not see the options for removable disks, check and make sure that your reader is plugged in properly*

  4. Step 4

It will automatically transfer to memory card when you select one of the removable disks.(A screen pops up showing the transfer, and it should go pretty quick) Congratulations, you've put a image on your memory card!

  5. Step 5

FOR MORE THAN ONE PICTURE AT THE SAME TIME: Follow steps 1 and 2, then you need to select the multiple pictures. If you want ALL pictures in the file, go to the toolbar and select Edit: Select All or you can press Ctrl+A. For ONLY A FEW pictures, click on the first one with your mouse, then hold down the Ctrl button on the keyboard while clicking other pictures. The images selected will be surrounded in blue. Then follow step 3(right-clicking and sending to a removable disk) on through Step 4.

Tips & Warnings
  • If Removable Disk (H:) doesn't work, try the other letters and one definitely will.
